About the Pedro Point Community Association

 

As a non-profit organization, the mission of the Pedro Point Community Association (PPCA) is to foster a sense of community for the Pedro Point neighborhood through events and fundraisers. The Firehouse is owned by the PPCA and is governed by the PPCA board of directors.

PPCA general meetings are held at the Firehouse on the third Thursday of the month (7:30pm) in January, April, July and October.

Pedro Point Playground

We Did It!

The Pedro Point Community Association Playground Project was a community-build effort imagined by the long-time residents and parents of the Pedro Point neighborhood of Pacifica.

The goal of this project was to revamp an aging play structure into a vibrant playground to provide our children and our community with a place to gather and have fun for decades to come.

This volunteer effort was not only a good investment for our community but, by collectively coming together, we shared in the pride of giving back to our special seaside neighborhood.

 

September 2019: Weekly Meetings Regarding Pacifica General Plan Update


If you are interested in keeping apprised about the progress of the Pacifica General Plan Update/Local Coastal Plan, and specifically any updates related to the San Pedro Ave. Field (ie: Calson Field), there are weekly informal meetings on Wednesdays, 7:30 pm at the Firehouse. 
 

There is much info to share & discuss! All are welcome to attend these meetings — the goal is to foster greater opportunity for community dialogue & info sharing among those who share concerns about development on this sensitive parcel.
