Pedro Point Field & its History in our Community

The Pedro Point field is a privately owned open space with seasonal wetlands adjacent to the Firehouse. The field has been used as a public access to Linda Mar beach for generations. Its natural environmental beauty and wildlife habitat are an integral part of the visual character of our small coastal community. For years the City of Pacifica has tried to change the Land Use designation of the field to allow for mixed-use commercial business and residential homes to be built on this sensitive open space. There has been strong neighborhood opposition.
