Help Preserve a
Community Treasure:
THE PEDRO POINT FIREHOUSE
Built by volunteers between 1949 and 1953, the Pedro Point Firehouse at the south end of Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, CA, has long been a beloved public gathering place, fostering neighborhood connections and strengthening our community for generations.
But after seven decades of exposure to a challenging coastal climate, it’s in urgent need of significant repairs — so we need your help!
As stewards of the historic Firehouse, the Pedro Point Community Association (PPCA*) recently began a maintenance project to replace its weathered siding, using funds from rental proceeds plus a generous gift from an anonymous donor. Unfortunately, the project uncovered extensive dry rot in the building's framing, and required repairs to restore the structural integrity of the building far exceed our available resources.
We’re reaching out now to friends and neighbors to help us raise $30,000 to complete these critical repairs and save this community treasure.
To kick things off, the PPCA Board has already donated $5,000. – won’t you please join us?
Donations can be made via:

Without these vital repairs, the Firehouse may have to close its doors indefinitely — an unthinkable loss for our community. Your gift of $100, $250, $500, or any amount will make an immediate impact.
Thank you for helping us preserve this cherished landmark!
*The PPCA is a 501 (c)(4) non-profit organization which means donations are not tax-deductible, but deeply appreciated and are vital to maintaining the Firehouse as a community benefit.
